Thursday 13 - Things Found In My Purse

I know most women have multiple handbags that cost small fortunes. That is not me. Give me an all-purpose everyday cute bag with pockets and space and I’m in Heaven. I switch it up if I’m going out, but for the most part, I heart my all-purpose daily bag. Problem is, daily use means I end up throwing all kinds of junk in it and it remains cluttered until I FINALLY clean it out.


Cleaning was today – this is 13 items I found (aside from my wallet, keys, blackberry and ipod.)


Black undies…don’t ask. I honestly don’t know why/how. They were hidden in the zipper compartment…definitely mine though. I think I accidentally put them in there when I changed at the gym last week (maybe???). Yeah…that’s what I’m going with. Just forget you read that line and move on. :D


3 loose M&M peanuts. I had a bag of ‘em I don’t know how long ago. I guess some fell inside my purse. Yes I ate them just before I typed this…and they were still good! Lol


1 Halls Cough drop. It was a chaser to the M&M’s…don’t judge me!


Several metro cards. I know the one in the front pocket flap is good until next week, but I’m not sure about the others and instead of finding out…I just put keep them there. Smart huh? Yeah…I know! ;)


$16.87…I almost never carry cash unless I know I’m going to need it well in advance. I prefer to use my debit card. So it’s no surprise that most of this is from the coins in my change purse and a majority of the change is in PENNIES! Lol.


Little Black Makeup bag…I’m not big on makeup though, so it’s filled with three different lipsticks (flesh tone, deep dark red and a copper/earthy tone), lip gloss, and chap stick. Clearly I’m only concerned with my lips.


MULTIPLE receipts…from the supermarket, atm, starbucks, drugstore, work cafeteria, etc. I always think someone will find them, get some info off of them, and steal what little money I have. So I never throw them away when I’m outside. I wait until later and shred them…when I remember…which clearly isn’t often! Lol


Deodorant…sometimes I forget to put it on. Secret is strong enough for a man…though it’s made for a woman (hee hee), so even if I forget, it’s still strong enough to keep me covered for another day. But still…I like to carry around the travel size…just in case.


Hand lotion…the soap at work is the slimiest cheapest crap on the market. I’m not completely convinced its soap actually. It leaves your hands SUPER dry and cracked and old looking, so I use hand lotion religiously.


An Umbrella ella ella aaay! My little green umbrella is tiny, but it gets the job…provided we’re not attacked by a strong wind yo!


Aleeve… I am prone to headaches and these little pills are the best thing I’ve ever tried. You take two and before you know it, you’ve forgotten you even had a headache! They’re like magic.


Bottle of Nailpolish (Revlon’s Cherry Fizz w/ Glitter) I was looking everywhere for this! I forgot I had it with me for my pedicure a couple weeks ago.


Peppermint Tea Bag…No wonder my bag has been smelling minty fresh. Lol. I don’t know how/why this is in there. I certainly don’t remember putting it in there, but it’s the brand I use at home, so clearly I DID place it in there.
