New Office Space

So I moved into new digs.  For the first time in years, I’m sitting near a bunch of other executive assistants…though we don’t work in the same group.  The things some of these girls have to deal with constantly have me side eyeing and raising an eyebrow.  I am sooooooooooo glad, that I learned how to professionally say NO to people a long time ago.  When I was younger, I used to feel bad about it, but NOpe not anymore.  There’s a difference between being helpful and allowing yourself to be taken advantage of.

This one chick across from me is going THROUGH it with the manager she supports.  Her manager asks her help with EVERY…LITTLE….THING.  I mean sheesh…I keep expecting him to call her from the bathroom stall to let her know when it’s time to wipe his booty clean. He has her RUNNING around here doing the smallest most menial tasks.  I so aint able…and I’m thankful my manager is NOT like that.

Anywho, I’m emailing this from work, so I can’t write too TOO much about what’s going on, but I’ll try to have a full report later.

Peace out cubscouts!

No is one of my favorite words!

What is it about younger people, women especially, who don't realize that you most certainly CAN say no at work? Lol Especially if it's gonna make the rest of your work suffer.

You sure have been doing a lot of 'drive-by' posting, ma'am. *side eye*
